We are excited and honoured to be participating in the largest ever veterinary field trial- the “Epic Trial“. In association with 2 UK and 34 other veterinary cardiology centres worldwide, we are investigating the use of a drug used to control heart failure associated with Mitral Valve Disease, the most prevalent cause in dogs.
Dogs with a loud murmur due the disease, but with no apparent ill effect, are being recruited to determine whether using the drug before symptoms of heart failure are apparent may delay the onset of failure.
